Chris was born in Guernsey and was educated at the Grammar School, Exeter University and studied for the English Bar at University of the West of England. Chris qualified as an advocate in 2002, having been called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of the Inner Temple in 2000. He became a partner of the firm in 2010.
Chris specialises in criminal litigation, both in legally aided and privately funded cases. Chris consistently achieves excellent outcomes for his clients, is a highly regarded criminal advocate and appears regularly in all of the criminal courts in the Bailiwick.
Chris also undertakes contentious (unfair dismissal) and advisory (compromise agreement) employment work.
